What is Telemedicine?

Telemedicine is the use of audio and video technology to provide care for patients at a distance. Doxy.me is a simple and secure telemedicine solution. It was expertly designed to ensure use is as easy as possible. There are many benefits to using telemedicine. The biggest, is the convenience of meeting with me from the comfort of your home or office. 

Checking in for Your Telemedicine Session

Prior to your first video session, please take a moment to review the instructions ​​(CLICK HERE), which contain helpful tips introducing you to the world of telemedicine. 

The video below provides a quick how-to about checking in as a patient. I won't email you the link as mentioned in the video. All you'll need to do is scroll to the bottom of my homepage (or this page) locating the link to my virtual waiting room.

Simply click, Start a telemedicine call with... â€‹and you'll be linked to my virtual waiting room. It's as simple as that! There's nothing to download and you don't have to set up an account.

Q: Is this platform secure?
A: This platform uses state of the art security and encryption that is HIPAA compliant. No data is ever recorded or stored.

Q: What type of equipment will I need?
A: To have a video session, all you need is a computer or mobile device with a good internet connection. 

Q: Do I need to download an app?
A: There are no downloads, no account registrations, and no passwords (thank goodness)! All you need to do is click Start a telemedicine call with...see below. You will be linked to my virtual waiting room.

Q: Which browser should I use for an online appointment?
A: You will need to use Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. You may also use Android or iOS devices.
